eCare Opportunity Scholarship

Empowering Education Through Opportunity

Your potential is bigger than a test score. The eCare Opportunity Scholarship helps students with financial need pursue a college degree or technical certificate and build a path toward their future.

At eCare, we work to transform schools and empower student growth through technology, grant funding, and innovation. This scholarship extends that commitment by recognizing determination, effort, and educational goals.

Scholarship awards

  • Finalist scholarships: Up to 20 selected applicants will each receive a one-time $1,000 scholarship to help with freshman-year costs such as books, fees, or supplies.
  • Grand Prize scholarship: One student selected from the finalists will receive up to $13,000 per academic year for up to four years, with a maximum total award of $52,000. The award is subject to financial need and renewal requirements.

Have these documents ready before you begin:

  • FAFSA Submission Summary showing your calculated SAI: one PDF, up to 10 MB.
  • Official high school transcript and ACT score report: PDF or image files, up to 10 MB each. Please submit no more than two files. Your ACT score is required if your cumulative GPA is below 3.0.

The application includes two required essays about your educational and career goals and how you have responded to a challenge. An optional third essay lets you explain recent financial changes not reflected in your FAFSA. Each essay has a maximum of 300 words.

A Google account is required to upload documents. Applicants may use a personal Google account; an eCare account is not required. Complete the certification and verification authorization before submitting. A copy of your responses will be emailed to you.

Recipients must remain on track to graduate within four years and meet the Scholarship Maintenance Agreement’s renewal requirements, including:

  • Ensure at least 75% of annual credits satisfy requirements in the declared degree pathway.
